‘Twenty Four’ Simply Iconic Hip Hop Logos

BadBoy Death Peterock

Def Ruff Fella

Kast Tang Nature

Snowman 1ST & 15th Rawkus

What makes them iconic?

The logos above are iconic because of there simplicity and how effectively it may appear in black & white. The meaning and the message they convey, plus brand recognition that goes along with them. In addition, they are also very recognizable and highly impactful brandmarks.

What I have gathered is a collection of Twenty Four iconic logos from the Hip Hop World. Above you will see some logos that were once popular or remain popular today. Some have been copied and flipped by other designers, others are very clever and visually stimulating.  I happen to enjoy the music from artists these logos are associated with, and like the majority of the ones I’ve chosen to display on this blog. However, my favorites include: Bad Boy Entertainment, Deathrow Records, Rawkus, Outkast, Wu-Tang Clan, Naughty By Nature,  Nas, Public Enemy, G.O.O.D. Music, Def Jam Records, 1st & 15th & Roc-a-Fella .

I tried my very best to locate the designers of these original logos. As you can see their names are listed below each logo, but I could only find links for two designers. Please take some time out to click the links and check the work of these artists.
